during my reflection time today, I came across this meditation on today’s Gospel in the Magnificat:

“…The access to heaven is through desire. He who longs to be there is really there in spirit.  The path to heaven is measured by desire and not by miles…”

short.sweet.simple.refreshing.ahhhh.

this is a picture I took today from the Shrine of St. Anthony in Maryland (that’s St. Benadette of Lourdes and Mama Mary). 

“If God remains with me,

to protect me on this journey I am making

and to give me enough bread to eat and clothing to wear,

and I come back safe to my father’s house, the LORD shall be my God.

This stone that I have set up as a memorial stone shall be God’s abode.”

I feel so blessed to receive affirmation after affirmation from God to continue being a missionary.  Last year (also during my birthday), I received the same message from the Gospel reading from Luke chapter 10 (the sending of the 72).  I am so grateful to the Lord for allowing me to be used as one of His instruments to spread His words of love here on earth. Praise God for another year of life, another year full of blessings :). God bless!
